I find some chords from Martyn's page. Lyrics are Beck's.
I think Beck plays it with standard tunning but i tried
to do this followin Martyn's idea. Everything fits.
Martyn's tuning: CGCGCE
First Beck plays somthing like intro using chords:
E----0------0------0------0------0------0------0----
C---12-----10------9------7------5------0------0----
G---10------9------7------5------3------5------4----
C---12-----10------9------7------0------0------0----
G----0------0------0------0------5------5------2----
C----0------0--------------------0------0------0----
Beck continous intro with verse chords for a while and starts singing...
Basic chords for the verse:
E---0-----5-----0-----0--
C---0-----5-----0-----0--
G---4-----5-----4-----5--
C---0-----5-----0-----5--
G---2-----5-----2-----5--
C---0-----5-----0-----5--
And he sings like:
E---0------------------------------------------5-- ( 0 )
C---0------------------------------------------5-- ( 0 )
G---4------------------------------------------5-- ( 5 every second line )
C---0------------------------------------------5-- ( 5 )
G---2------------------------------------------5-- ( 5 )
C---0------------------------------------------5-- ( 5 )
Lookin' at me, you'll never find out what a working man's about
Raving all night and sleeping away the daaaaaay
Something I need, something I plead for something I'd like to say
Something I'd like to say, if that's alriiiiight?
And chorus Beck sings to the chords above too:
Life, go easy on me
Love, don't pass me by
Life, go easy on me
Love, don't pass me by
Then second verse and second chorus.
Then intro again and one verse
with one line of lirycs at the end "Don't pass me byyyy! Hmmmm."
